As part of an investigation into alleged money laundering the Interior Ministry said, on Wednesday Spanish police raided the Madrid offices of China's biggest bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Europol said in a statement, over 100 police were involved in the operation. It saw the arrest of five ICBC directors. The spokesman added, "Strictly implementing anti-money laundering regulations, and strictly operating within the law and regulations have always been our fundamental operation and management principles." The Chinese embassy in Spain said it currently had no reason to believe the bank had been breaking the law. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/reuters/topNews/~3/2cRxpzqGgJk/story01.htm http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
The Amazing Office In Madrid 2014 HD 1080p This aerodynamic tube office, designed by Spanish architects Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano, allows its workers to feel as though they're working in the middle of a picturesque Spanish forest. Half of the office, which the two architects designed for their architecture firm Selgascano, is dug into the ground in a forest outside of Madrid. This ensures that the office stays cool even during the hot Spanish summers. A long window that curves up to the ceiling runs along the length of the office and eliminates the need for artificial lighting during the day. This window is also attached to a hinge and pulley mechanism that allows it to open up and keep the building ventilated. The other half of the building features an insulated fiberglass wall that hel...

You will be able to go on a free guided tour, learn train and bus times, and see what to visit. They are most helpful. This would be a starting point on your journey I would recommend. Travel video about destination Madrid in Spain. Madrid is Europe's most elevated metropolis, a royal capital of history, outstanding buildings and cultural treasures. Most of Spain's royal palaces are in Madrid, the capital of Spain since the 17th century. Including the Royal Palace, that even today serves as a royal castle. The colossal building of grey granite and limestone owes its impressive appearance to its length of 500 metres and strategic elevated location. On the southern side of the castle is Madrid's most recent cathedral, Almudena Cathedral. It boasts a combination of styles between New Gothic and Classical and was 200 years in construction. Madrid also has a boulevard that has transformed it into a major metropolis, the Gran Via, that compares in both flair and dimensions ...

Hello to you Travellers, this time was time to go to Madrid and its was really great! It was a city that didn't surprise me cause I was already expecting what I was going to see, and that not to be confused with a bad city! It was only cause I have been in other Spanish cities before and I was expecting the same vibe. Madrid was really nice, I went to see the Real Madrid Stadium, then went for a nice breakfast, after that I went for a walk in the Real Palace Garden and then stop for a bit in Grand Plaza. Soon I went to La Latina and to a botanical garden, Madrid provided me with an amazing day... Let me know about your experience in this city and what could I have done that you don't see on the video. For sure next time I will be doing that! Follow me at: YouTube ➞ http://www.youtube.com...
The Best & Worst of Madrid, Spain. From fantastic tapas bars and nightlife to cultural opportunities galore like the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum and the Palacio Real there are so many things to love about Madrid... But a few things you might not like about Madrid, like your need to speak a little Spanish, not knowing which train station to head to to visit the cool day trips and a few other little things. Overall Madrid is amazing and well worth visiting. Filmed in Madrid, Spain Copyright Mark Wolters 2014

Madrid, Spain's central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry.

This Spanish Civil War mini history documentary was filmed & animated in Madrid. The Spanish Civil War is fascinatingly complex. That’s why I’ve decided to explain the Battle/Siege of Madrid between 1936 & 1939 using animation and original footage I shot in Madrid. To understand the two sides during the Spanish Civil War (the Nationalists and the Republicans), it helps to reduce the conflict down to the city level. I hope having it explained this way is helpful for you! Feedback welcome as always. Yolanda Pila wanted to convert her grandparent’s forties-style tiny home on the outskirts of Madrid into something that would fit her more modern lifestyle, as well as an in-home design studio. At her invitation, PKMN architects redesigned the 50-square-meter (538 square feet) home using sliding shelving units to create rooms that expand and disappear depending on the time of day. The movable modules are common in warehouses and commercial spaces (they are suspended from the ceiling on rails), but here the architects appropriated them as flexible walls for the different rooms in Yolanda’s home. The political tension in Catalonia is spilling over into the rest of Spain, and its economic consequences are far-reaching. Events are moving quickly in both Madrid and Barcelona. The parliament in Madrid is taking steps to strip Catalonia of much of its regional autonomy, as Catalan politicians vote in favour of secession from Spain. The political situation has been confusing, but what is clear is that Catalonia's push for independence has already had an impact on the region's economy. Tourism has dropped off sharply. A growing number of businesses, including one of Spain's largest banks, have moved their head offices out of Barcelona, fearing political instability and financial uncertainty. If Catalonia does eventually become independent, there are big financial questions to be answered...

Architect Camino Alonso wanted to create a small, portable, prefab homes, but she didn't want it to feel like a shipping container. Camino, along with her husband and siblings (also architects at their firm Ábaton), created ÁPH80, a tiny home that ships like furniture, but has the style and usability of a smartphone. Their Casa Transportable ("Transportable House") is manufactured in 6 weeks in a CNC factory in Northern Spain. Their largest model (9 by 3 meters) is still small enough to fit on the back of a truck. The height of 3.5 meters allows for a gabled roof to give it the feel of a real house, but it's just low enough to fit under bridges and tunnels while on the road. Once the house arrives at the site, like a shipping container, it is craned into place in as little as 20 minutes...
